Today's Pokémon Presents showed off quite a few things to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, but the biggest reveal of the presentation for a lot of people is probably that of Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves. The trailer gives us our first look at the latest core entry in the franchise including two specially-dressed Pikachus, the games' main characters, and the three new starter Pokémon in Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua. While the trailer doesn't go into much detail about the new region, the description on the official Pokémon website mentions going on a new adventure "through an open world of windswept islands and an ocean of glittering waves"...and there is a lot of water shown in the trailer.
Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves will launch globally in 2027 for the Nintendo Switch 2.
