Shacknews has the
scoop that Insomniac Games has announced
Resistance: Fall of Man 2. While there aren't a lot of specifics it looks like the game will feature a new story mode with 8 player co-op and 60 person multiplayer mayhem. The first game was the best of the PS3 launch titles (OK, that's not much of a compliment) but it was still a very solid game with a decent plot and some very cool weapons. The game won't be out until the fall of this year but I'm looking forward to seeing some of the first screenshots and hopefully playing the game at E3 this year.
