When I owned a Gamecube, I think I had a handful of games. It wasn't a strong library, though I did have a physical copy of the Megaman Anniversary Collection. While Super Mario Sunshine did absolutely nothing for me, I also had Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. So yeah, I missed a lot of Gamecube titles.
Nintendo is giving me a second chance. Luigi's Mansion is coming out for the Nintendo Gamecube: Nintendo Classics service on October 30th. The game puts you in the hands of Luigi, trying to find his brother in a haunted mansion. Luigi wields the Poltergust 3000, a vacuum that helps him get rid of ghosts as he enlists the help of Professor E Gadd. But, you probably know all this already.
This means that the entire series is available on the Nintendo Switch 2. Notice I said Nintendo Switch 2, because if you still have the Nintendo Switch 1, you're out of luck. And if you don't have Nintendo Switch Online, for $50 a year, then what are you doing? It's the cheapest way to console play online, now. You're welcome, Mario.
