I'm here, and I'm alive. I've been a little busy trying to keep up, and giving you fine people the news you need. And I forgot to let you know that I played Marvel Cosmic Invasion. At least the readily available demo, on Steam. Dotemu is out here cooking.
Now, if you were a fan of the perfect score given TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, then you know how good this feels. It does only have 4 players at the same time, but I think this is ok. This is both local and online. You can pick two characters and switch between them at any time you choose. You can also call them in for assists, and team up moves. Each character has a dodge, a super, and they're own moves.
The demo gives you nine characters to choose from. I went with a Spider-Man/Venom combo, then changing to a She-Hulk/Wolverine combo. I cannot express enough how good these controls are. I also cannot express enough how much in love I am with She-Hulk's move set.
There are only two stages available for the demo, but it's enough for you to get a grasp of it. The demo is only available for Steam right now, so consoles are going to have to wait, but you can check out my playthroughs here. Joseph will return.
