The news I have been waiting a long time for has finally come and it's that we got a release date for Tormented Souls 2 and it's coming very soon. A direct sequel to the first game, once again we play as Caroline who this time needs to rescue her kidnapped sister from a cult.
The first Tormented Souls was such a great surprise for me. I admit when I first saw the trailer I thought it looked terrible but I actually gave it a try and it ended up being a really good old school survival horror experience. It had some jank but no more or less jank that other survival horror games of the PS2 era had. The game had some really great puzzles as well and this sequel is one of my most anticipated games of the year.
Tormented Souls 2 launches on October 23rd 2025 for PS5, Series X and PC.
