Two more games announced for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Edition and... oh boy

More On: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection

We got a new trailer for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Edition today and confirms that two of the most infamous games in MK history, mainly because of how notoriously bad they are, will be added to the collection. Oh yes, it's happening alright, Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero and Mortal Kombat: Special Forces will be part of the collection. Let's be honest, these games are terrible but at the same time it's nice to see them included to be a complete package and bad games deserve to be preserved as well because they are part of Mortal Kombat's history.

We did get to see some of the other features in the game that look really cool like a Fatality trainer, music player, character profiles and lore pages, the timeline for the documentary part of the game and other features like a rewind mechanic CRT filters.

We also got a tease at the end of the trailer for the Wavenet version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 which would be an awesome inclusion as that was an arcade exclusive version of the game that had online play, some balance changes and added Noob Saibot as playable character.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Edition launches in 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X, Switch, Switch 2 and PC.
