Halloween: The Game announced

More On: Halloween: The Game

Announced at the Future Games Show, the classic 1979 horror movie Halloween is getting a game adaptation called "Halloween: The Game" and got a reveal trailer as well showing the streets of Haddonfield as a woman, most likely Laurie Strode, runs out of one house and into another. Dr. Loomis narrates the trailer as Michael Myers himself makes an appearance at the end complete with that classic Halloween theme song. Great stuff.

The game is being marketed as both a single player and multiplayer experience though we have no details on how the game will work aside from it being a "stealth" experience.

I really hope the single player aspect of this is an actual single player story mode and not just missions or single player with bots because I am really getting sick of all these games being turned into asymmetrical PVP online games. Horror movies are prefect for telling brand new stories via videogames as the Hellraiser game is doing or something along the lines of what Supermassive has done with Until Dawn and The Quarry.

Halloween: The Game is scheduled to be released in 2026 for PC, PS5 and Series X.
