When Reef Entertainment showed off the side scrolling action adventure version of Terminator 2, the crowd went wild. One of the greatest movies of all time has seen its share of video games over the years. This one might be one of the coolest I've seen.
Think of Contra, except they need your clothes and your motorcycle, and they're trying to protect the future from being taken over by cyborgs. You do get to play as both Sarah Connor, and the T-800, but you also get to play as John Connor, Sarah's son from the future. Why am I explaining who these characters are? The movie this is based on came out in 1991.
Bitmap Bureau is taking the helm here, promising pixel artwork and arcade gameplay. The overview trailer shows off so much more. 15 levels, including vehicle levels, huge bosses, explosions, and melee attacks mixed with run and gun action. I think I might have to get this one for myself. Check out the trailer below, as it also reveals different modes, like Arcade and Boss Battle, and that CRT filter I'll probably turn off.
