Summer Games Fest just concluded and the big reveal at the end of the show was the announced of Resident Evil 9, which is titled, Resident Evil: Requiem.
It seems our protagonist this time is a woman named Grace Ashcroft and for fans of the series, that name should sound very familiar.
One of the best shots on the trailer was seeing the remnants of what remains of Raccoon City after it was nuked after the events of Resident Evil 3. We see a apocalyptic wasteland of a city with a giant crater in the middle of it followed by seeing what remains of what was once the Raccoon City Police Department from Resident Evil 2.
Resident Evil: Requiem launches on February 27th 2026 for PS5, Series X and Steam.
