Yes, we're getting a new Ninja Gaiden in July, and it looks amazing. You already know that. What you don't know is that we now have a solid release date. July 31st is when you get to take on the side scrolling 2D sword slashing, demon slaying, Ninja Gaiden goodness. They also revealed that the composers from the original NES versions of Ninja Gaiden will be loaning their talents to the soundtrack of the new game.
Storyline wise, this game runs concurrent with the original NES version of Ninja Gaiden. As Ryu Hyabusa goes to avenge the death of his father, you take the role of Kenji Mozu to close a newly opened gate of darkness.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound releases on July 31 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series.
