Hitman developers 007 game is finally revealed

Years ago, developers IOI announced that they would be working on a new James Bond 007 which at the time only went by the name "Project 007". Today however we finally got an official announcement of the game as the website for the game went live and now we know the game is officially titled "007: First Light".

There is only a brief synopsis of the game on the website but it confirms that this will be an origin story for James Bond. Here is the official but brief info burst from the website... 

007 First Light is a brand new James Bond video game developed and published by IO Interactive. Featuring a wholly original Bond origin story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status.

No word yet on a release date or systems it will be available on but a gameplay reveal is scheduled for later this week.
