Merry Starlight Celebration, Final Fantasy onliners

It's always great hearing about the holiday festivities passing the time in MMOs.  I doubt they'd add any relevance to single-player games (Altair assassinating Santa for perpetuating the Crusades?  Commander Shepard engaging in a hot n' heavy dialog with Mrs. Clause?  Hm, maybe I'm onto something...) but these types of festivities mark the passage of time beautifully in otherwise persistent, unchanging online worlds.  On that note, Final Fantasy XI fans need to seek out their local Moogle (in San d'Oria, Bastok, and Windurst) for details on the seasonal Starlight Celebration, which started this week and continues until 7am on December 31.  Happy holidays, Kupo!

I hope you're all well-prepared and bundled up for the holidays. Just wanted to let you know that our friends in Vana'diel are already partaking in the seasonal festivities in Final Fantasy XI's Starlight Celebration!

Whether you play Final Fantasy XI or know someone that does, be sure to check out the latest event. Now in full effect in Vana'diel's three nations, San d'Oria, Bastok and Windurst. The Starlight celebration began just this week, but be sure to participate soon as it ends at 7:00am on Monday, December 31, 2007.
