City development simulation game alert! Metaroot and Kerzoven have announced that their latest game, Of Life and Land has launched version 1.0 of the game yesterday, May 16th on Steam.
Of Life and Land is a simulation game that allows players to build their own settlements while balancing the challenges and glory of a city planner and ruler. Throughout the game, you'll be challenged with growing and expanding your settlement, resource trading and management, conflict, and more.
This game sounds like a great pairing between city building and historical references. With the launch comes a brand-new historical scenario about the Counts of Lenzburg, set in the Central Plateau of medieval Switzerland. Players can build the Lenzburg Castle, discover ancient myths, and take part in a time of political conflict between church and empire.
Along with the Counts of Lenzburg scenario, this release features castle construction, single-city scenarios, advanced trade mechanics, and decorative elements like benches, signposts, and flower boxes to bring settlements to life - all of which were not previously available in the early release stages.
