Huge news on the Beaver front!
If you're already a fan of Timberborn, or if you have ever dreamt of creating a society made up solely of beavers (which honestly at this point, who hasn't?), then you'll revel in the latest news from developer Mechanistry. Timberborn Update 7: Ziplines and Tubeways is officially coming to Steam May 8, 2025.
What does that mean for your beaver tribe? Transit systems. And not just any old transit systems, but systems that are specifically designed to meet the delicate needs of your community of beavers.
Picture this, you've developed a beautiful and successful infrastructure. It's functioning perfectly, but alas, there's one thing missing and CLEARLY it's beaver ziplines. Don't worry, the makers of Timberborn are one step ahead of you. With this new update, your beavers can finally take to the skis utilizing ziplines to get around. But that's not all, because you'll also unlock beaver tubeways to help your furry friends get around in a new, cylindrical way. Tubeways can travel skyward, and under water and badwater, making travel faster and more convenient.
