It’s rare to see a video game about grandparents but Tell Me Your Story is just that. The game puts you into the role of Amelia. She’s a young girl who, while visiting her grandmother, finds out she used to be a globetrotting adventurer. Tell Me Your Story is a puzzle game with a storybook art style and comes with a cozy soundtrack to help make the puzzles much more relaxing. “Tell Me Your Story aims to capture the love and awe that can come from getting to know one’s grandparents.” You’ll help Grandma Rose complete everyday chores like washing dishes or organizing boxes. You’ll even need to feed her cat and re-stocking the bathroom. As you play you’ll discover artifacts of Grandma Rose’s past life. The themed puzzles are surrounded by hand-drawn scenery and, “eye-catching and cozy visuals (that) fit perfectly with the theme of getting to know one’s family and the comforting nature of a loving grandparent. The game is separated into four chapters and can be explored at your own pace, complete with hints, and powered by Amelia’s vivid imagination.”
Tell Me Your Story is launching on Steam and the Nintendo Switch sometime in Q2 2024.
