A new story mode trailer for Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator has just been released showing off gardening, greenhouses, and flower picking are among some of the gameplay features. I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say the opening story to Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator falls into the same plot as many of the farming sims I encounter. But if the shoe fits. That’s not to say I still won’t try Garden Life. After all, I don’t usually play a farm sim where the ghost of the former owner is around to help guide me. I love the idea of putting on some headphones, listening to a book and working on my garden. The game’s story mode puts you in a warm, secluded village taking on the role of the newly appointed steward of a neglected community garden.
Again, Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator has all the bells and whistles you expect to see. You’ll take care of a number of requests made by fellow villagers, which will help you earn Florins, the game’s currency. That can then unlock new areas of the garden or even purchase new tools and ornaments from the store. Florins can also unlock a variety of structures. One of them being the pavilion, a building that houses all the flower sculptures crafted in tribute to the locals, based on their personality and their passions.
Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator will be available on 22 February 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC . The Nintendo Switch version will be released on March 14, 2024.
