Goons: Legends & Mayhem takes a beloved sport, in this case hockey, and turns it into, well, mayhem. Goons combines the best of a handful of worlds and turns it into its own game. An arcade sports beat 'em up is a mouthful, but Goons describes itself best with its title, Legends & Mayhem, which seems to be everywhere. Players are thrown into Zambonia, “a once quaint and prosperous kingdom where hockey is at the centre of everything. Choose from one of eight unique characters divided into three classes - the attack-focused Sharpshooter, the defence-oriented Enforcer, and the Wingman who can focus on either supporting their team or harassing their opponents.”
Goons: Legends & Mayhem supports up to six players at once. There is 2v2 mode with a single goal keeper or a more traditional feel of 3v3. There are eight characters split into three different classes. The recently release update trailer shows off more gameplay footage but also includes talk about the full game campaign, story cinematic, cosmetic items, and updated UI.
Goons: Legends & Mayhem will release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
