Qualifying play begins at the end of January for the NHL 24 World Championships with the tournament concluding with the close of the NHL season in April. Each of the 32 NHL clubs will run an in-person tournament with the winners and runners up joining the top 4 players from the All-Star break tournament and the top 56 players from online open play in the North American Championship knockout round at the end of March. The top 4 players from that will join 2 from the European Championship the week before for the World Championship on April 7th. The registration portal close on Tuesday, January 30th for European Online Open Play and on Tuesday, February 13th for North American Online Open Play.
