Antstream Arcade brings a gigantic collection of classic games to Xbox

More On: Antstream Arcade

Antstream Arcade has been kicking around the internet for a few years now, and last time I checked it out, I thought it was a fun and interesting way to play a few classic C64 and Amiga games. But what I didn't realize was that, while I was off doing other things and living my live, Antstream Arcade has slowly been adding games to it's library to the point where it is now flipping enormous.

The current Antstream library contains 1470 games, from the 293 original arcade games to the five Atari Lynx games to the 57 Sega Genesis games currently on offer (you can check out the entire list here). The big news this week that has brought Antstream back into my line of sight is today's announcement that the company is bringing it's entire library of classics to Xbox.

That's right, on Friday, July 21, you'll be able to access the entire Antstream library - including some previous PlayStation and Nintendo games - on Xbox. Subscriptions will run you $29.99 for a year, or you can play $79.99 for lifetime access, which will include any upcoming games that get added to the service.

Antstream will be premiering "Antstream Connect" today at 3:00 PM EST, with more details and game announcements. You can watch that stream live here:
