Guardians of Holme is a tower defense game that has both deckbuilding and roguelite elements. You’ll use terrain to formulate defensive tactics by strategically placing powerful traps to repel endless waves of enemies based on the terrain you chose. As you get further in you make use of additional trap cards, relics, and upgrades to existing cards in order to enhance the deck while seeing more formidable enemies.
You take on the role of a skilled artisan and lead the citizens of your kingdom to defend their homeland. In the early access version of Guardians of Holme, you will choose between two distinct play styles by choosing between two characters, Seth and Nicole. “In the distant past, the Demon King who nearly destroyed the entire world was sealed away by the legendary hero, and the demons were driven to the edges of civilization. As time went on, people slowly forgot about the agony and suffering during that period. One day, the dormant demons suddenly reappeared and marched toward the prosperous Royal City where the protection circles resided.”
Guardians of Holme will be available June 16 on Steam Early Access at a price of $12.99. Additionally, you can pick up the title for a 20% discount during the first week.
