A new dawn of Mortal Kombat has arrived as NetherRealm Studios has announced Mortal Kombat 1.
In the trailer we saw Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung.
This does seem to be a continuation from the ending of Mortal Kombat 11 where Liu Kang, now a god has reshaped the world as he saw fit. Now characters that were rivals in the past like Kitana and Mileena, and Sub-Zero and Scorpion appear to now be allies. The trailer also ends with Liu Kang performing their fatality on Shang Tsung.
Pre-ordering the game gets you Shang Tsung and beta access.
Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 19th for PS5, Series X, Steam, Epic Game store and Nintendo Switch
