It has begun! Tomorrow at 6am PT, we will get our first look at the next game in the Mortal Kombat franchise. NetherRealm Studios has posted one final teaser to their social media pages titled "Tomorrow is a New Dawn", showing the same clock as before stuck on the "1" before the glass on the clock shatters and we are told that "It Is Time". That time being Thursday, May 18th at 6am PT which would be 9am EST.
As a huge fan of Mortal Kombat, I am so incredibly hyped. Things got weird after Mortal Kombat 11 as NetherRealm broke their usual release schedule as we never got Injustice 3 so it was up in the air what their next game would be. After the ending of Mortal Kombat 11 it seems that this new game could potentially be another reboot of the series. Hopefully this time without all the time travel stuff.
