Arcade 1UP has announced their next cabinet and it's The Fast and the Furious.
The Fast and the Furious includes two games...
It includes light up marquee, coin door, online play and leaderboards and four way stick shift. Also a first for the their cabs, You can link up to four Fast and Furious cabs together through a local network for local multiplayer.
I love arcade racers but I was never really into this one, however this cab has me incredibly excited because this cab, and the link feature is exciting for the future. There is one cab that I am personally waiting for.
If you went into an arcade in the 90s you almost certainly know what cab im talking about. Even if you didn't play it you knew what it was because you certainly heard it. That cab of course is Sega's Daytona USA and probably the most iconic attract mode theme song in history. Now wish I could afford to buy four of them to get that true authentic arcade experience but one will have to do for me.
The Fast and the Furious will cost $599.99 and is available for pre-order at Best Buy. No official release date but they said it should release before Fast X arrives in theaters next month.
