Logitech partners with Playseat for a version of the Trophy seat

More On: Playseat Trophy Logitech G Edition

Logitech's first Direct Drive wheel is a winner and when it was first announced, they also talked about a racing seat that could go with it. Well, it's now available as the Logitech Playseat Trophy Logitech G Edition can be purchased and paired with the Pro Racing Wheel and pedals for a truly incredible racing setup.

The Playseat Trophy Logitech G Edition features a frameless structure that's adaptable to your body with plenty of adjustments. It's colored in various shades of gray with that familiar Logitech blue accent on some areas of the seat.

Made of high carbon steel, the Trophy Logitech G Edition also features a soft, breathable ActiFit material that helps keep you cool while racing for long periods of time.

And you can be sure the mounting points are compatible with the Logitech Pro Racing Wheel and pedals. I currently have a Playseat as well, but mine doesn't have the mounting holes in the correct position to have all the screw holes used in both the wheel and the pedal base. Mine also has a bar in the middle where the base attaches to and sits in front of the brake pedal whereas the Trophy is all open making it nice and clear for you legs to move around without being blocked by a metal pole.

The one thing it does seem to be missing though are shifter mounts. I'm hoping one does come out so you can mount one, but there seems to be some third party ones available if you do need one for your racing setup. -UPDATE- Playseat does have a shifter mount for the Trophy version, which you can see here.

You can order the Playseat Trophy Logitech G Edition from Logitech's website soon and it'll retail for $599.
