VITURE One glasses now going out to backers

by: John -
More On: VITURE One

I've been loving my Nreal Airs when out and about. I'm able to watch content in a virtualized large screen display and not look too out of place as the glasses don't look outlandish. More and more companies are coming out with them and it seems the next one that has great potential is finally shipping to backers.

The VITURE One XR Glasses is one of the more highly anticipated ones and it also uses micro-OLEDs to simulate a 120-inch screen. The glasses look like normal oversized sunglasses but has some interesting features for being XR glasses. The lenses can change its tint so I'm hoping this will allow for blocking out anything behind it whereas you need a snap on accessory for the Nreal Airs.

One the side are magnetic pogo pins that you can use to easily connect and disconnect the USB-C cable. I do have some questions about this though as if a cable is damaged, you'll have to contact VITURE it seems to get a new one whereas something like the Nreal Air, which uses a standard USB-C cable, can be replaced with any third party cable that meets the spec.

VITURE does have an option to deliver cloud stream gaming and media via its neckband should you not want to plug the glasses into a phone. It will also power the glasses as well and they've said it should give at least three hours of usage on a full charge.

You can pre-order now for $479 for just the glasses, but they offer a lot of accessories and packs to really round out your experience. If it's anything like the Airs, I think it will be a solid product and another choice for people who want large screen gaming and media consumption in a relatively small package. I can't wait to see what the backers think of it and perhaps it'll be another one to add to my collection.
