Latest Destiny 2: Lightfall trailer showcasing the new exotics

Destiny 2, like all looter shooters, has gradients of weapons from the basic to the best. The best in this story are the exotics, weapons so powerful and rare you can only equip one weapon and one armor on your character at a time. With the latest expansion, Lightfall, just 4 weeks away, it's time to start looking at those sweet, sweet exotics; and Destiny's latest trailer does just that. Harnessing the new power called Strand, we've got the following lineup to feast on:

• Final Warning – This Strand Sidearm tracking rounds that seek out nearby enemies.
• Deterministic Chaos – A Void Machine Gun that rhythmically weakens enemies as it fires.
• Winterbite – A Stasis Exotic Glaive that freezes enemies on impact with frost orbs, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attack.
• Cyrtarachne’s Façade – This Exotic helmet gives extra protection as Hunters gain armor and flinch resistance when they grapple.
• Abeyant Leap – When Titans use their Barricade with this Exotic leg armor, it spawns seeking projectiles that suspend enemies and gives armor to its wielder.
• Swarmers – This new Exotic leg armor allows Warlocks to create a Threadling to infest and attack enemies after destroying a tangle.

The trailer also shows the upgraded Quicksilver Storm, an auto rifle that is already available in the game for Guardians with Nightfall DLC pre-orders. With the catalyst upgrade the gun can now create Strand tangles that can be thrown at enemies when in grenade mode. Nightfall launches at the end of the month, February 28th.
