Soulslike There Is No Light to get Enhanced edition on January 7; Console ports coming first half 2023

Developer Zelart and publisher HypeTrain Digital announced that a large update is coming to their pixel art indie game There Is No Light on January 7, 2023. This will be the game's biggest update yet and will ultimately change the title to There Is No Light: Enhanced Edition. Please see below for a summary of the changes:

• The Hero now obtains new abilities from slayed bosses - allowing for more diversity in combat
• Side part of Caves of Rebirth location is now available even after completing the sidequest
• Combat system rebalanced
• Surface readability improved

The game released back on PC in September 2022 and is a pixel art action adventure game set in a world ruled by the Church of the Great Hand. You play as a protagonist who must save your child that has been abducted by the Church and face off against hordes of demonic creatures that stand in your way. It features punishing soulslike combat for absolutely stunning artwork!

There Is No Light is available now on PC via Steam. It is coming to consoles sometime in the first half of 2023.
