Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it would be publshing two PlayStation China Hero Project titles: Lost Soul Aside & Convallaria. For those unaware, the PlayStation China Hero Project is a program by Sony Shanghai that supports developers in China to enter the Asia and Global market.
Lost Soul Aside is an action role playing game with combat inspired by Devil May Cry with flashy weapon combos and movements. Lost Soul Aside producer Yang Bing remarks: "With the strong support of Sony Interactive Entertainment ‘China Hero Project,’ as well as development funding and the opportunity to bring Lost Soul Aside to a global audience, the development progress of Lost Soul Aside is steadily progressing and we are looking forward to providing more updates and details soon."
On the other hand, Convallaria is a third person PVP and PVE action shooter set in a unique science fiction world. Convallaria project lead Xu Min explains in a press release: "During the past few years of development, we have faced many challenges, but with funding from, and the help of Sony Interactive Entertainment and our partners, the team has overcome many difficulties. We are looking forward to the opportunity of sharing more news on Convallaria very soon."
Both projects in development look great visually with vibrant colors and detailed graphics. Lost Soul Aside is targeting an early 2024 release date on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. There is currently no release window for Convallaria though, but we'll be sure to keep up to date with the latest news and updates.
