Capcom has unveiled the date for their upcoming Resident Evil Showcase. Only three days away, this showcase will cover Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, including the Winter's Expansion is releasing on October 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC via Steam. The DLC alone will be available for purchase for $19.99 whereas the Gold Edition will be available for $49.99. This accessibility update will drop on the same day for base game owners as well.
Resident Evil 4 is set 6 years after the Raccoon City incident that Leon S. Kennedy was a part of in Resident Evil 2. As such, we see a much more mature and fearless Leon as he faces the Ganado. The developers intend to use the environment to create a much more tense and scary atmosphere in the remake. Resident Evil 4 Remake hopes to preserve the essence of the original game while offering a fresh new feeling of modern day gaming. The game will, of course, feature state of the art modernized graphics and updated controls.
