Chris Pratt was announced a while ago to voice Mario in a new Super Mario movie and while the choice is interesting, one person is taking it to the next level.
Below you'll see a video of a person who is taking the Unreal engine and making Super Mario using Chris Pratt and it looks absolutely amazing. The 3D gameplay looks like it works surprisingly well and a lot of the first few levels is working. Warp pipes, power-ups, even the ending flag pole is shown to be working in the video.
Of course, the higher graphics fidelity shows off how far we've come in terms of computer graphics. Some of the levels just look amazing and I hope we are able to play this sometime. Even if we don't, this video shows off what can be done with today's tools.
