I think it's easy to look at Unusual Findings at face value and say, man, that looks like a straight-up rip-off of Stranger Things. I know that was my first thought. But then I watched the trailer; aliens, pixel art, and multiple endings hopefully will prove that this is not that. “Step into a timeless tale of 16-bit VHS rentals, arcades, and baseball cards as best friends Vinny, Nick, and Tony discover an alien entity putting their small rural town at risk. Investigate the mystery, solve point-and-click puzzles inspired by genre legends like Full Throttle, and guide the story to dozens of possible endings. Have a rad time with the handy assist mode, genre-rich easter eggs, and licensed music like “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” by Dead or Alive.”
