Fire Emblem Engage announced; launching January 2023

During today's Nintendo Direct, the next entry in the Fire Emblem series has been announced with Fire Emblem Engage. The game will return to its tactical strategy role playing game roots. Please see below for an official description of the game:

• Become the Divine Dragon and save the continent of Elyos!
• Use hero-summoning strategies to defeat an ancient threat in a brand-new Fire Emblem game.
• Summon valiant heroes like Marth & Celica alongside a new cast of characters and engage in turn-based, tactical combat against a great evil in this new Fire Emblem story.

A divine collector's edition will be available at launch, which includes the base game, steelbook, art cards, an art book and a poster. Pricing details are unknown at the moment.

Fire Emblem Engage is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023. Pre-orders are available now on the Nintendo Shop.
