More On: Escape Academy

If you like puzzles, thinking, or feeling triumphant, you should be playing Escape Academy. The first game to successfully emulate the feeling one gets at a real-world escape room, Escape Academy offers a number of delightfully varied brain-teasing puzzle rooms to challenge the player.

Skybound Games, Coin Crew Games, and iam8bit - the teams behind Escape Academy - have indulged the time-honored victory lap known as an accolades trailer, celebrating the various pats on the back they received for a job well done.

In addition to the trailer, the teams also today announced a new patch to clean up some quality of life issues. Players will now be able to toggle split screen in online multiplayer, which had been locked in the "on" position. The update also gives players an FOV slider, and various sundry bug fixes. The grading system has also been changed to be "a little more harsh", which makes me sad. I had grown accustomed to my straight A's.

Escape Academy is currently available on Xbox Game Pass and for digital purchase on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store for $19.99.
