Block'em looks to be a cute way to start arguments with friends

I love to get into a party game, especially one that looks easy but is hiding some hard-core playstyle to it. I'm hoping that to be the case with Block'Em. Block’Em looks cute and cuddly on the outside. But something tells me it’s going to be a vicious, cut-throat, push your friend in lava to win kind of party game. “An exciting mix of platform and puzzle, Block’Em is an action-filled block-building party game for 2 to 4 players. The controls are simple but the road to victory is complex: players must be the first to reach the goal or be the last Blocky standing.” Being faster and outsmarting your opponent looks to be a big driving force with Block’Em’s gameplay. At least two and up to four players can compete at once, either online or in a local co-op match. Other features include not just dodging platforming elements like fireballs but solving puzzles faster than others.

Block’Em is launching on September 8th and will retail for £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99. The game will be available on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
