PQube announced today that the cult classic Korean survival horror game White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is coming to next-gen consoles in addition to the Nintendo Switch this September! The original game was released all the way back in 2001 but has now been remade for modern day gamers.

This re-release of the game will include over 30 DLC costume items for the main characters. Unfortunately, previous owners of the game on the PlayStation 4 will not receive a free next-gen update to the PlayStation 5 version "due to the differences in content between the platforms". Save files will not be transferrable either.

See below for some details regarding the upcoming release:

  • Enter Yeondu High School, a building with a dark past, patrolled by homicidal janitors, and haunted by those who met their untimely demise on its grounds
  • Terrifying ghost encounters: Come face-to-face with 20 unique ghosts, each more horrifying than the last.
  • Featuring a dynamic scare system: the higher the difficulty, the more terrors you encounter
  • Discover hidden secrets, ghost stories and ten different endings depending on your actions!
  • Prepare for the hauntings of Yeondu High School with our definitive Ghost Guide!

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is available now for PC via Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and mobile. The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X and Nintendo Switch version will be available on September 8, 2022. Physical editions are available for pre-order as well via Funstock.
