Naughty Dog announced earlier today via a tweet that their upcoming remake of The Last of Us Part 1 has gone gold. When a game development cycle has gone gold, it means the game has reached a point where publishers can start to press copies of the game onto a disc. It is exciting to hear that the 1.0 version of The Last of Us Part 1 is now complete and the team can start work on any other bug fixes and polishing that still needs to be done. The Last of Us Part 1 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 2, 2022 for $69.99. The PC version is also in development but with no release date yet. The tweet also showcases a new trailer for the game so be sure to watch it! Check out the initial announcement trailer below:
