Developer Terrible Toybox and publisher Devolver Digital dropped a gameplay reveal trailer for their upcoming game Return to Monkey Island today during the Nintendo Direct mini.
You play as Guybrush Threepwood and embark on a brand new adventure through the Caribbean to uncover the Monkey Island's most famous secret. Old friends and foes will make a return in addition to a new crew of Pirate Leaders that may prove to be more of an adversary than ally.
Return to Monkey island is the sequel to the original Monkey Island created by Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman. Some of the original voice cast members will reprise their roles as well! This sequel includes brand new controls, accessibility features and jokes!
Return to Monkey Island is coming to PC and the Nintendo Switch sometime later in 2022.
