I feel like we just had a Steam Next Fest, but nevertheless there’s another one right around the corner next week, June 13-20. Some games are diving a little ahead of the fest, like MINROCKET’s marine adventure DAVE THE DIVER. The demo features about 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay. Some of the gameplay elements include deep-sea exploration. Venture into the mysterious Blue Hole, filled with all kinds of interesting looking fish. The game is also part restaurant management. Once you’ve come up with your catch from the Blue Hole you can then turn around and feed the masses with your catch. The more successful you are in the restaurant the further into the Blue Hole you can venture. The thing that’s going to get me to try the demo is Dave himself. Finally a character that looks a little bit more like I do, a beefy boy.
Once you’ve dipped your toes in the demo, you can head over to the official developer livestreams and get behind-the-scenes insight and participate in Q&A sessions. DAVE THE DIVER developer livestreams will air at 10 p.m. PDT on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14 on the official Steam page.
