Nemesis: Lockdown moves to Early Access

More On: Nemesis: Lockdown

Nemesis: Lockdown is the digital adaptation of the popular Nemesis board game. The board game actually sits in 18th spot in boardgamegeek.com's rankings (https://boardgamegeek.com/browse/boardgame) with the video game taking that inspiration into a turn-based horror game. "In this game, you are not a hunter – you are prey, trying to survive and complete secret objectives." reads the press release. Objective that can also include killing other platers. I guess that makes everyone sus, eh? The video game will incorporate single and multi-player and it's not just the other players to be wary of. In true classic sci0fi horror style there is also "the Intruder" wandering the base looking for it's next meal.

This digital adaptation seems to incorporate the board game well and drives heavily off influences like Dead Space and the Alien franchise. Which, I mean, if you want solid material for inspiration does it get much better than that? The game is still a ways from full release but has entered a playable state with text and voice chat implemented. It's also 25% for the time being in Early Access on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1915550/Nemesis_Lockdown/
