More On: Sigil of the Magi

Steam is currently hosting “Going Rogue: A Festival of Persistence”. It’s a celebration of games from a handful of genres that are loosely related. Roguelike, Roguelite, Souls-like, and Metroidvania are all given the spotlight. The event runs until May 9. Sigil of the Magi, an upcoming tactical deck builder with roguelike elements thrown in is one of the games being shown off during the week.

“You control a party of three champions and traverse through procedurally generated maps, encountering battles and events along the way. Every encounter offers an opportunity to build up your deck of powerful skill cards unique to each champion. Progress through evolving maps, earn formidable cards, and acquire influential relics through battle and mysterious encounters as you journey to obtain the secrets of the Magi.”

Some of the gameplay elements you can experience during the demo include the deck building process. You can also control Champions, all from various factions, who have unique skill trees and passives. You can check out Sigil of the Magi, as well as Wishlist it on Steam.
