Sniper Elite 5 announces release date with new trailer

Rebellion revealed the news today that Sniper Elite 5, the latest iteration in one of the best sniper games out there, will launch globally on May 26th. The game will release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via Epic, Steam or Windows Store. The game will also be included in the Xbox Games Pass. While largely a single player Campaign focused game in the past, this year the Sniper Elite series is pushing the multiplayer with the Invasion mode. So be sure to read up on our earlier news about that. 

Non Games Pass holders have the option to pre-order (I mean, I guess you could do that even if you had Games Pass but... why?). I'm usually not a fan of pre-orders on principle, but if choose to go that route you will net yourself s special mission to infiltrate Hitler's Bavarian mountain retreat, as well as special weapon - the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol. There is also a Deluxe Edition available which combines the pre-order bonuses with the full Season Pass for planned future content, including more campaign missions, weapon skins, character and weapon packs.
