You might not have heard of World Championship Boxing Manager, heck the game came out in 1991, but it’s finally getting an official sequel. World Championship Boxing Manager 2 is a one-two punch of business management and boxing gameplay. “The boxing world is at your fingertips in this deeply detailed and outrageously entertaining sports management simulation. Enlist competitive fighters, recruit top-notch staff, and ride the hype train all the way to endorsement city! Watch it all play out in the ring as your fighter takes the throne…or takes a fall.”
One feature I like seeing more and more of is Twitch integration for games, and World Championship Boxing Manager 2 has them. Examples that developer Mega Cat Studios give are, “Viewer Controlled Crowds’ that can push the in-game crowd to perform cheers, chants, or animations like “the wave.” Similarly, audience members can buff or debuff the streamer's (or the opponent’s) stats and strategies!” The game will also have a story mode with branching paths, a skill point system and real life boxers like Rocky Marciano and Sugar Ray Robinson.
World Championship Boxing Manager 2 gets into the ring on PC , PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this spring.
