More On: Orbital Bullet

If fast paced is your thing then the  360° action-platformer Orbital Bullet may be up your alley. After watching the trailer it seems as though there is almost zero downtime. In the game you fight your way through a handful of procedural planets and along the way you  use body modifications, crafting and heavy weaponry. After almost a half year of being in early access, Developer SmokeStab is taking Orbital Bullet to a full release on March 21st.

To help celebrate the full release SmokeStab is also releasing a new content-packed update. “Titled “Upcycle”, this DLC showcases Planet Scrapyard, a fresh n’ fun desert biome. But don’t be fooled, this expansion is anything but barren. Along with a new environment to traverse through, this latest content drop includes dazzling hand-painted pixel art cutscenes for each boss, additional skill tree branches, and a new Decorating System. Included in the update are three new electrophonic soundtracks from Niilo Takalainen, known for their work on award-winning dungeon crawler Noita."

Key Features of the "Upcycle" Update:

  • A Whole New World: Scrapyard, as its name suggests, is a desert biome filled with discarded cyborgs, robots, and you guessed it…scrap. Exploited by the Dread Corporation's greed, the planet is now a scorched wasteland where unbridled peril awaits.
  • New Enemies on the Horizon: Blast and burn your way through a barrage of new enemy encounters, including the Desert Crawler, the Dread Corp Flamethrower Unit, Spike Tires, and more.
  • Setting the Stage: Five unique, hand-painted cutscenes have been added on the first kill of each boss, giving more story context.
  • A Growing Skill Tree: Recent branches have sprouted, including Shop Rerolls, Extended Merchant Supply, and Lucky One.
