Arcade 1UP has announced cabinets for purchase for the 2022 season and one of them will be a new Mortal Kombat cabinet to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series. This cab will be modeled after the original Mortal Kombat cabinet that was released all the way back in 1992. This cabinet will also include a collection of classic Midway arcade titles as well as online play via wifi.
Unfortunately it looks like they didn't get the rights to use Daniel Pesina's likeness as Johnny Cage as he appeared on the side of the original cabinet. Still this is going to be a cool addition to anyones game room, especially for MK fans. I already own the original MK2 Arcade 1UP cab but I will be getting this as well and will place them side by side.
