CES 2022: Razer updates their Zephyr smart mask adding a voice amplifier (Update: and voice modulation)

Last year, Razer put out a concept mask with a voice amplifier, RGB, active ventilation, and interchangeable filters. When the mask came to market, it was missing the voice amplification for easier hearing of the person wearing it when speaking. It was one feature that I think a lot of people really wanted.

Fast forward a few months and today Razer announced the Zephyr Pro with the voice amplification system. It's has the same features as the Zephyr with the added voice amplifier. I asked if it would have the ability to do voice modulation and change how you sounded, but Razer has said for now it'll just be voice amplifying. (Update: Razer has confirmed it will have voice modulation from today's stream.)

Price wise, it's a $50 premium over the regular Zephyr and battery life shouldn't change too much. It's rated at 8 hours with the fans on low and you have to turn on and off the voice amplification manually. There's no auto detect.

$149.99 with $199.99 starter kits that include 99 days worth of filters is what you're looking at.
