Razer always announces some interesting concepts at CES and some do make it to consumers like their mask from last year. This year, we're looking at a desk for their concept project.

Project Sophia is their take on a smart desk. It basically houses all your components but it's also modular. There are 13 modules that can be configured to the desk and the thinking is you would swap out items you'd use base on the task your are performing. You might have more work related modules setup during the day and if you stream afterwards, put those modules in.

It's an interesting concept to make your work area more flexible and given that a lot more people work from home now, having a desk adjust to your activity seems kinda smart.

Of course it wouldn't be Razer if there wasn't Chroma involved and the desk is lined with LEDs that can change color. You would then be able to sync the lighting to other RGB LED products using their software.

Size wise, we're looking st a 65" desk size, but there's mention of a 77" size as well in the press release. As it's a concept, no pricing or availability has been mentioned. but I'm sure Razer is looking to see how interested the public is in this sort of product before moving forward on making a consumer version of it.
