I guess we've all known all along that Gollum is somewhat dangerous, unpredictable, and mentally unstable, but the new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum revealed last night during The Video Game Awards shows him to be a straight up murderous psychopath.
While it's unclear in the clip how much mortal danger Gollum is really in, the squirrelly little fella doesn't hesitate to choke a dude out, and then he drops a cauldron of molten lava on three more orcs. Do not mess with the precious, I guess, cause Gollum will get ya.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to release in 2022 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, promising stealth/action gameplay and a lot of burnt orcs. Players will help Gollum along in a quest to recover his ring, choosing to either cling to the edge of reason or totally indulge Gollum's darker impulses.
