Among Us was one game that really helped me through the pandemic. I had a lot of fun either trying to figure out who the aliens were or being one as we did tasks or try to kill our friends. I haven't played in a while but this announcement might get me to jump back in again.
Among Us VR was announced at The Video Game Awards last night and it's coming for the Quest 2, PlayStation VR, and Steam. That means all the usual suspects on the PC such as VIVE, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets will get to experience it.
There's no release date yet, but we got a few quick shots of how it looks. It's kind of weird seeing a 3D representation of the game having been only a 2D game for the longest time. And seeing someone come racing towards you from behind to kill you looks really terrifying.
Yeah, this one looks like it's going to be pretty damn fun.
