Mobile battle royale set in Final Fantasy universe now available

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier has now released for iOS and Android. It's a free download with in-app purchases where players can select their SOLDIER candidate, each with their own special abilities as well as ranged and melee weapons:

• Warrior – This Style’s strength comes from close-ranged melee attacks.
• Sorcerer – Specializing in mid-ranged AoE attacks; this Style’s basic magic spells Fire, Blizzard and Thunder are powered up.
• Monk – A high-vitality Style which comes with self-healing and shield abilities.
• Ranger – Skilled in seeking out enemies and sniping them from afar.
• Ninja – Perfect for stealth and ambush attacks, this Style comes equipped with a double jump.

The game traverses famous locations from eh seventh installment of the game including Seventh Heaven, Corneo’s Mansion, and Honeybee Inn. Players will take on other players, monsters in the city's outskirts, and unlock new weapons by collecting XP through victory. Rideable Chocobos, materia, and loads of classic Final Fantasy elements are present, with options to customize your avatar as well. Thanks to the two million pre-registrations for the game, the developers are also handing out login bonuses to all new players, including a Chocobo Egg and some Shinra skins. There are some lunch sales in-game also for some character customization bundles.
