World War Z launches on Nintendo Switch (not the Aftermath update though)

World War Z, the acclaimed zombie shooter based on the movie of the same name, is now available on Nintendo Switch for $39.99. The deluxe edition is available for $49.99.

Nintendo Switch features:

  • Hundreds of zombies, brought to life in visual detail and put to death once again with firepower
  • Unique locations set in New York, Moscow, Jerusalem and Tokyo
  • Solo or co op of up to 4 players online
  • 7 character classes, weapon upgrades, Challenge Mode

The deluxe edition features bonus content:

  • Biohazard Weapon Pack
  • Military Weapon Pack
  • Last Aid Weapon Pack
  • Signature Weapon Pack
  • War Heroes Character Skin Pack

The Horde Mode Z game mode and the Marseille story missions episode will arrive on Switch as free post-launch DLC at a future date.

The PvPvZ game mode is available now as a free download in North America and is coming soon to all other Switch players around the world.

World War Z is also available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox as the updated release World War Z: Aftermath.
